Professional engineers and qualified technicians service the heavy structural, mechanical engineering, saw milling and wood re-processing industries. We operate throughout New Zealand and Australia and also handle major projects throughout the Pacific Rim countries, with manufacturing facilities in Christchurch;a branch in Auckland New Zealand and further offices in Brisbane and Melbourne, Australia.
In 1954, Southern Cross Engineering was established with a commitment to technical expertise, quality, innovation and service. It has the same philosophy today. Today we have in excess of 100 in our Team with a substantial work shop of approx 4,000m2 with a large capability to competitively manufacture machinery. We have on site shot blasting and painting facilities. Our Automation & Electrical department complements our Design Team, Project Engineering and Service Personnel.
Wilson Engineering Systems Ltd (purchased in 2007) has been completely incorporated into Southern Cross Engineering adding a strong Team with many years of expertise and many key Suppliers.
