In 2007 SCE designed, built and installed a Slag Processing Plant for Winstone Aggregates.

The plant was designed to crush, screen and wash unprocessed EAF slag and work debris. The plant outputs of EAF slag grade 2,3,4, B5 as per TNZ m/6 and an EAF pap5. Slag grades are discharged into precast concrete bunkers which serve a dual purpose as supports for the screening station.
The plant features a refurbished VSI and vibrating plate feeder with the inclusion of a Trio granulator and pair of Rocktec heavy duty screens.
